Caucasian Front War History Museum is an interactive museum that contains historical documents about the wars fought on the Caucasian Front and portrays sections from the daily lives of soldiers under the war conditions of that day.

The building, known as the Bloody Bastion, which has survived to the present day while preserving its architectural features, was opened as the Caucasian Front War History Museum after the restoration work.

After the Treaty of Karlowitz signed by the Ottoman Empire in 1677, there was a need to create new defense systems on the eastern borders of the state. For this purpose, starting from 1734, military structures called bastions began to be created to defend the city of Kars against the Russians from the east and Iran from the south.

In the garden of the museum, the White Wagon, which was gifted to the 15th Corps Commander Kazım Karabekir Pasha by the Russian delegation that came to Kars for the 1921 Kars Treaty and which the Pasha used as his private wagon during his travels between Kars and Erzurum for two years, is also exhibited.

An impressive museum where you can fully feel the history. The struggle is tried to be kept alive with visuals and sounds.

Kars is a city full of history. The streets, streets and buildings are Baltic architecture from Russian times. You see this effect in many parts of the city. They have not been tampered with and are still intact.
I had previously heard people call Kars "Little Moscow". I haven't seen Moscow, but it's clear that Kars is not a city from Turkey. It has a completely different atmosphere. There is some truth in what they say.
When you look at those statues in the museum, the harsh realities of war come to mind. Even the metaphor of pebbles trying to reflect the snow and the sound of the wind makes people shiver. Kars is an important city to see.

The entrance fee is 40 TL. The museum card is valid. It is a place where we really feel that dullness inside. Be sure to visit around it, especially in the spring months. It is a lush garden full of purple flowers. Kars already smells of history, but it is underdeveloped. I believe it will come with the Eastern Express and tourism.

Be sure to visit and see, there is no parking problem, the museum card is valid. It was referred to as a bloody redoubt. In other groups, guides talk a little bit, all you have to do is overhear them.
