I have a special interest in museums. Tekirdağ Archeology Museum is a well-kept museum that bears the traces of history. It contains archaeological artifacts belonging to many civilizations. Also, about the traditional clothes, home order, handicrafts and lives of the Thrace region. It also has a section. There are also old tombs and altars in the garden. The museum is located on a hill overlooking the sea.
The museum is entered with a card.

Tekirdağ is a city worth seeing. I left very satisfied.

It is a very beautiful historical building, there are many beautiful works in it, the garden is beautiful, sarcophagi and column pieces are placed, there is no entrance fee. I recommend it to those who pass by, it opens at 9 in the morning. It has a beautiful sea view. Don't be fooled by the fact that it is free, because there are things here that are in most paid museums. There may be a bit of a parking problem, other than that there is nothing to say

The museum, which is very valuable for Tekirdağ in my opinion, contains important works from the city's prehistory to the ancient period. You can see artifacts from Thracian tumuli, objects such as statues, sarcophagi, etc. from the Roman period, and coins from various periods in the museum. Although the ethnography section is a bit weak, there is a section where weaving samples and home life are explained. Admission is free, recommended.
