Visitors can tour the interior and grounds of this magnificent mansion where Atatürk once lived.

The building, which bears the influence of European and Western Renaissance architecture and uses flamboyant European symbols, was built as a summer house by Konstantin Kabayanidis on the Soğuksu ridge overlooking Trabzon in the early 19th century. On the ground floor of the mansion there is a living room, recreation room, dining room and guest room. The first floor has a study, master bedroom, waiting room and meeting room. There are two small rooms on the second floor.

When Atatürk made his first visit to Trabzon in 1924, he was hosted in this mansion, but did not stay. When he returned to Trabzon for the second time in November 1930, he was hosted at the mansion and was very pleased. He stayed for two nights in the mansion arranged for him in June 1937, and on the night of June 11, he decided to gift all his property to the Turkish nation, which he loved more than his life, and prepared a list of his assets and sent it to the prime minister for necessary action. While dedicating his wealth to his nation from his mansion in Trabzon, Atatürk said: “Possessions and possessions weigh heavily on me. I will feel relieved by donating them to my nation. A person’s wealth should be in his own spiritual personality. I want to give more to my great nation.”

This building, known as the Atatürk Mansion, was converted into a museum and opened in 1943.

Delicate mansion with a magnificent view, surrounded by pine trees. When you enter the door, the mansion welcomes you with such elegance that you think you are in a fairy tale. The garden is also very beautiful and the flowers are very well-kept. You can sit and watch the mansion for hours. Since the surroundings are full of pine trees, the air is very clean.

Especially the wooden parts of the mansion look very beautiful. There are 3-4 floors and if I'm not mistaken, there is a terrace on the top floor, you can go up to the terrace. The view from the terrace is absolutely magnificent.

It was beautiful. It is a very modest house with its own unique architecture. It was built by a Greek architect at the time. It is one of the places where Atatürk came and found peace when his illness relapsed. I advise. There is a very small entrance fee. The garden was also landscaped and well-kept.

The road in Çamlık area is very beautiful. Separate roads have been built for going and returning. There is a large parking area and shops where you can shop.
