Modest museum and garden with ancient pottery, coins, statues and mosaics.

The museum differs from other museums with this feature. The head of Antiochus I (69-40 BC), the most important ruler of the Kingdom of Commagene, was unearthed during the Samsat excavation in 1983 and is one of the most important works of the archaeology department of the museum.
Another unique work is the cult statue found in Kilisik Hamlet, Çıralık Village, Kâhta District in 1970. Dating back to 7500-7000 BC, the statue draws attention with its similarity to the statues in Göbekli Tepe, Şanlıurfa.
In the museum, flint hand axes, scrapers and cutting tools from the Paleolithic Period, flint and obsidian arrowheads from the Neolithic Period, various terracotta vessels from the Chalcolithic Period, bronze spearheads and similar artifacts from the Bronze Age, hieroglyphic inscriptions from the Iron Age, various kitchen vessels and ornaments, sculptures, mosaics, inscriptions and various vessels from the Hellenistic Period, sculptures, inscriptions, mosaics, oil lamps, fragrance bottles, various vessels and ornaments from the Roman Period, various vessels and ornaments from the East Roman Period, glazed vessels, glass works and ornaments from the Islamic and especially the Seljuk Period, various artifacts from the Ottoman Period and many gold, silver and bronze coin samples are exhibited.

I can say it is a mini museum. I don't think they have many works to exhibit. 10 minutes is enough for a visit. No museum card required.
A small museum located in the center of Adıyaman. It can be among the places to see. Entry is free. Inside there are fossil remains and coin samples from the Roman and Hellenistic periods. A miniature of Mount Nemrut has been made. There are also small statuettes.
