important museum

5.0/ 5

This important building of this unique period, which played an important role in the formation of the western front of the War of Independence and was even used for many years as the headquarters of the 2nd Corps, was very important for us to visit and enable us to tell about the recent and distant past of this region. The ground floor was dedicated to the important work done by the Kuva-yi Milliye organization and Atatürk. On the 1st floor, archaeological artifacts obtained from this region are included. It also hosts Ottoman artifacts that have the feel of a tiny ethnography museum. If you come to Balıkesir, I recommend you to see this important museum for free.
