Botan Valley is the valley system formed by the Botan Stream, which takes its source from the high mountains that form the borders of Siirt-Hakkâri and Siirt-Van, which surround the Nordüz Plateau of the South-East Van Mountains of the Southeastern Taurus Mountains from the west, and joins the Tigris River 20 km southeast of the city of Siirt.

The Botan River, which originates from the foothills of the high mountains in the south of Bitlis, creates a deep valley as it flows westward. This is Botan Valley. As Botan, one of the steepest and steepest valleys of Turkey, extends towards Siirt in the south, it passes between the 2741-meter-high Doğruyol and the 2631-meter Kapılı Mountain and opens into the Tigris Valley.

I can say that it is the most beautiful place in Siirt. It's a magnificent valley. One's head is spinning. Installation available. There is a cafe restaurant in Bıyık and the view is great. Vehicle entrance is 25 TL. There are camellias and seats. But most of the seating members were broken and not repaired. It is a wonderful nature and a place where you can make beautiful memories and pictures. The road is good and very close to Bitlis centre. I recommend you to visit and see it.

Botan Valley, which is the subject of folk songs in Siirt, dazzles in every season of the year with its appearance containing thousands of colors of nature. With the rise of water in the Botan Stream in the Ilısu Dam Lake basin, the valley attracts even more attention with its new view.

The National Park, which is viewed from the Rasıl Hacar Hill (perforated stone) at an altitude of approximately 350 meters, attracts the attention of local and foreign tourists, and is among the indispensable addresses of nature lovers with its view of the Botan Stream, natural beauties and recreation areas.
