Large park with picnic areas, large playgrounds, well-kept ponds and cafes.

Kirazlıdere and Gökçay Recreation Area is a picnic area on the slopes of Hisartepe, with a bird’s eye view of Isparta, surrounded by vineyards and gardens and with restaurants.

It has a panoramic view, especially in summer. There are children’s parks and playgrounds in the Gökçay recreation area where children can have fun.

There is an amphitheater on the road route where social, cultural and artistic activities can be held on special days, and two waterfalls, one of which is large, on the road.  There is also an F-4 phantom fighter plane in the recreation area, given by the General Staff, Air Forces Command, to keep the memory of our Isparta air martyrs alive.

Actually, there is no official camping area, as far as I know, it may be a problem, but it is a nice picnic area.

Isparta is a very nice place to come with children. I really congratulate the municipality for creating a beautiful recreation area. It has parks spread over a very large area, playgrounds for children, the opportunity to tour with dolphins on the water, areas for barbecues and picnics, plenty of grassy trees, cafes and pancake places, plenty of clean air, as well as a beautiful city view as you go up. There is also a very nice cafe owned by the municipality and a restaurant and observation terrace on the upper floor.

It is very enjoyable to take a stroll in the evening, especially around the lake.

It gets crowded on weekends, but the number of foreign nationals is quite high.

Suitable for barbecues and family picnics. There is a children's park, kids love it. Car park available. Barbecue can be rented.

Actually a good place

Actually, it is a good place, but people are disrespectful here, just like everywhere else. They talk too loudly and they don’t care about anyone. There are enough toilets, clean water, fountains, a children’s playground, barbecue places, enough shade, trees, 3 km from the big city. It’s nice. I still liked it.
