Bayburt Ulu Mosque is a Friday mosque located in the Bayburt province. II of the Anatolian Seljuk Sultans. It is accepted that it was built during the time of Gıyaseddin Mesud (1282 – 1298). It was rebuilt in the 1970s, faithful to its original plan.
A small grand mosque without much decoration, but with a beautiful minaret and stronger decorations in the middle of the city. The middle was later closed and a highly spiritual mosque with tomb structures outside.
It has not lost its historical texture. It’s a little further down the road. You enter the mosque by going down the stairs. There is a wonderful atmosphere inside the mosque. A person receives a different blessing while praying. There are ablution facilities and toilets. You may have some trouble parking your car.
A magnificent mosque. It has not lost its historical texture.
Selçuklu work in Bayburt, one of the oldest Turkish cities in Anatolia. Even though many parts of it have been renewed over time, the spiritual pleasure of the Grand Mosques is also present in this mosque.
