Malabadi Bridge has the widest arch among the stone bridges in Türkiye and the near east. The bridge is within the borders of Diyarbakır province. On both sides of the arch, on the inside, there are two rooms used as shelter by caravans and travelers, especially during the harsh days of winter. It is said that these rooms, which were also used by the bridge guards, were previously connected to the bottom of the road through corridors, and that the footsteps of the incoming caravans could be heard further away through these corridors.
The bridge, which consists of three sections, each with different lengths and broken lines, is connected to the roads with slight slopes in the east and west. The middle section is a mass built on rocks. Here, there is a very large arch, pointed and 38.60 meters wide, and a small arch in the shape of a basket handle, three meters wide. The third part is noticeably parallel to the first part.
