The 1,030 decare area, located within the borders of Sapanca and Arifiye Districts, was declared a Nature Park on 11.07.2011.

Although the majority of the park consists of picnic areas, we went for a nature walk and bicycle tour. The forest itself is quite beautiful, the parking lots and paths are well laid out, although there are different routes created, most are either very short or end in a flash, but still good.
We experienced the bad part in the bike rental part. There is no problem with the good approach and helpful attitude of the staff, but very poorly maintained and poor quality bicycles are used to rent them for a cheap price of 30 TL. The chain of the first bike I bought literally broke after 1 minute. When I took it back, I realized too late that the new bike I bought couldn't change gears, so I walked back uphill. In short, although the environment of the park was very good, it turned into a bad experience for us.
A very nice place. It has a large area. The metropolitan municipality operates it. The roads are newly asphalted. You can barbecue. There are playgrounds for children to play. It has an adventure track, bungalow houses, a mosque, a market and toilets. There is also a shooting range, but I don't know if it is open to everyone. Car entrance fee is 25 lira.
