Places to visit in 10 minutes
I know that it represents the first place where pharmacy began. If you have time for a place that can be visited in 10 minutes, I recommend you to stop by.
Stone Masjid is the most important building from the Seljuk Period in Çankırı. These two buildings, built adjacent to each other as Cemaleddin Ferruh Hospital and Darülhadisi, are the center of attention in terms of plastic arts as well as architectural history. According to the inscriptions that have survived until today, the Hospital was built by Atabey Cemaleddin Ferruh in 1235, during the time of Keyhüsrev’s son Alaeddin Keykubat I.
Cemaleddin Ferruh, who had a Darülhadis added in front of the Hospital seven years later in 1242-1243, became the founder of one of the interesting health institutions in Çankırı with these structures. Of these two structures, the Masjid, popularly known as the Stone Masjid, and the Darülhadis section, where Cemaleddin Ferruh’s Tomb is located, have survived to the present day. The hospital part has been completely destroyed.
It is thought that the demolition of the Hospital, which also served as a Mevlevi lodge for a while until the decision to close the lodges, was caused by the fact that it was made of rubble stone and the condition of the land. In response to this, Darülhadis, which was built seven years later in the front, was made of cut stone on two floors and was supported from the outside by two walls and a corner tower.
It is the most important building from the Seljuk Period in Çankırı. The healing part, which was completely destroyed because it was made of rubble stone, was built by Çankırı Atabeyi (Governor) Cemalettin Ferruh in 1235, during the reign of Anatolian Seljuk Ruler Alaeddin Keykubat I.

It is one of the oldest historical places of Çankırı, but its name has never been heard or promoted. There aren't many visitors. This structure from the Seljuk period does not see its value. Entry is free.
