The ancient city of Tralleis is located on the plateau on the southern slope of the Kestane Mountains, in the north of Aydın province. 1 km from the city center. Famous for the leathers and red pottery it produced in ancient times, the city also trained two great sculptors named Apollonios and Tauriskos and Anthemios, one of the architects of Hagia Sophia. The statues named Farnese Gorge and Young Athlete, two world-famous sculptures of sculpture, are among the wonders of Tralleis.

We went on February 7, 2024 and saw a sign that it is closed to visitors. We couldn’t find any other door or way. I couldn’t find any information about why or until when it was closed. If you are coming from far away, I recommend you take this into consideration.
