Rize Ziraat Tea Garden is a botanical garden located 2 kilometers southwest of Rize city center.
In addition to the plants growing in Rize, the botanical garden also includes living species brought from different parts of Turkey and adapted to the climate of Rize.
First, tea saplings, tangerine, lemon, orange, grapefruit, citron and bamboo were grown in the botanical garden.
The facility includes a tea factory built on an area of 250 square meters where visitors can examine the tea formation processes, an observation deck, a children's playground, nayla, Atatürk Tea and Horticultural Research Institute, a tea sales store built on an area of 200 square meters, and a restaurant called Çayla.
Access to the botanical garden is provided via Zihni Derin Street. Municipal buses and minibuses go to the agricultural garden
The place is amazing and it is great to drink tea in the tea garden. Tea is so good that you can't get enough of it. A huge teapot of tea costs 120 lira. There is Çaykurun tea sales point just below and you can buy real tea.
